Update as of June 29, 2005

Gidday all and sundry.

May the blessings of whatever source of blessings you seek blessings from, be raining down upon you and those you love. I have been out of touch for some time now as I have been entering what is definitely a new phase in my life. At the beginning of the year I formed a film company called IndiPact Films Ltd, with Amarbir Singh. Amarbir is a very talented and visionary new director on the block here in New Zealand. He came from India 8 yrs. ago to attend a film school and has stayed on. We had worked briefly together in 2003 and both wanted to collaborate again. So,now we are! The weekend just gone, we shot a music video for a Brazilian musician living in New Zealand, using a new fusion of digital and 35mm technology. The results are fantastic. We also shot some footage with which to create a 1-minute teaser to attract investment for the digital feature film we are developing, called "P120".

On the LOTR front, obviously it is all a little slower now. I have not actually been invited to any conventions for the future, so if you would like to catch up with me at a convention, feel free to contact the convention's organisers and tell them!!! I have absolutely loved meeting so many wonderful, passionate, and crazy people at these gigs (and that's just the other actors! No actually, I mean you the fans) over the last couple of years.

I will be getting some information out soon about a DVD that Amarbir and I will be releasing via the internet. This is an 80- minute digital feature he shot in 2003. I had the pleasure of acting in this film, called "1nite". "1nite" is a film that will inspire any budding film maker, having been shot on a budget of NZ$400 (that's about US$300),using only a Canon XL1 digital camera, with no lighting or other sound gear. It was selected to play at the NZ International Film Festival last year, where it received great critical acclaim. So watch this space. We will have our website for IndiPact Films up in the next month or so.

After returning at the end of January to NZ from the wonderful ORC convention in Pasadena, I went straight into rehearsals for a pantomime called "Jack and The Beanstalk"(yes, cows, beans, stalks, etc.) with Michael Hurst,(he of Iolaus fame from Hercules and Xena). What a ride that was. Michael is a phenomenon. The guy has only one pace when at work, and that is full speed ahead. We played in the majestic St James Theatre in the heart of Auckland City, to a theatre full of screaming kids and hysterical parents. Once again I had to face my fear of singing, belting out a rock and roll number and joining in a couple of other pieces. All told it was yet another experience to put in the file marked "glad I did it".

One of the definite highlights of being in L.A. in January was catching up with the one and only " Callisto" (she killed me in an episode of Xena), Hudson Leick. Thanks to her inspiration, I got back to NZ and began the Landmark Education Curriculum. This is now creating a major dynamic and direction in my life and I am eternally grateful to Hudson for the push that got me there! I better get to work (now that I am a film company director). Much love to all who visit this site, may you live your lives powerfully and lovingly.
